To start, I have never felt so comfortable in front of a camera. I grew up feeling very insecure in photos and felt the black hole of a camera was almost menacing. As I’ve built my brand and podcast, I’ve done several photo shoots and did my best to overcome those insecurities, but the experiences often felt uncomfortable and unnatural. Sofia has such a warm, loving nature which immediately put me at ease and gave me space to really feel myself and shine in front of her lens. She really understood how to ebb and flow with my emotions (sometimes she literally read my mind) and helped me ease into the process. She also had me constantly giggling and remembering to enjoy the moment.
Through the entire process, starting with our first meeting to discuss my vision, I could tell I was with someone who would give herself 100% to making this vision come true. Her passion, genuine care, and selflessness within her work is magical and inspiring.
